Share the vision, buy a share

Shares in the Stoddart Family Farm Meat CSA are simply based on pounds per
month. Shares are sold in 4 and 6-month increments. Each delivery is
freshly processed at a licensed provincial abattoir and frozen. All orders
include a range of meat, some months may be more beef and pork, other
months there may be more lamb and poultry. Each order will be comprised of
a mix of ground, stew, chops, roasts, sausage and steaks and sometimes
bacon or ham. Our pasture-raised beef is dry aged for a 21-day period.

The Shares

Rather than confusing people with full shares and half shares, we have
simplified to increments of 10 pounds. You can order in any multiple of 10

pounds that you wish. We find that an average meat eating couple will easily consume a 10 pound share in a month. Same as last year, you can select one meat to remove
from the share for a $25 fee per 10 pound share (for example, the main season share is $565 instead of $540 if you choose to remove one meat).

For those of you without a chest freezer, our program is ideal – a 10 pound share takes less than a quarter of the space in a fridge-freezer.

2012 Winter Share

The winter share will run from February to May (4 deliveries). It
will include beef, pork, and lamb. The beef and lamb are
grass-fed. The pork will be our usual offering of
pasture-raised meats.

Price: $360 for 10pounds/month for the 4 months (read below about an

2012 Main Season Share

The main season share will run from June to November (6 deliveries). It
will include beef, pork, lamb and chicken. The beef and lamb are
grass-fed. The chicken and pork will be our usual offering of
pasture-raised meats.

Price: $540 for 10pounds/month for the 6 months.

Egg Shares

We have a limited opportunity to add some egg share customers for both the
winter and main season shares. The share will be a mix of chicken and duck
eggs with a guarantee of at least 50% chicken eggs.

$144 for 1 doz/week (4 doz per delivery) for the main season share (half share is
